EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
Private Landlords are legally required to have an EICR at least every 5 years, or at the time of a change of tenant, it’s the landlord’s responsibility to ensure the inspection and testing is carried out before the new tenant moves in.
All other domestic houses and flats are required every 10 years.
Booking an EICR with OEC Electrical provides you with a full comprehensive safety inspection which covers the consumer unit, the earthing and all accessible mains connected wiring as well as all the required testing of the circuits.
On completion of the EICR you will receive a Condition Report with details of the inspection, should this be unsatisfactory and requires remedial works a quote for these works will be attached. We aim to complete all remedial works within 14 days.
